– 1991: San Jose Benedictine Abbey, Guigue, Carabobo State: Organ assembly. Basic (used) supplies: EP Windchests, pipework, blower, power source, console sent as a donation from Germany. Reservoirs, framework, organ case, expressive shutter motor were built in my shop, and I assembled the instrument. 1992
– 1993: Rebuilding of the “Cavaille – Coll”
organ in Nuestra Señora de El Valle, Caracas, after the fire damage at Jan 18th
1991. 1994
– 2001: I elaborated several projects, among them the
rebuilding of the misconstructed OESA organ of the Caracas Cathedral and a
general restoration of the Kurt Schmeltzer organ from the Santa Capilla Church,
Caracas. 1998
- 2000:
Restoration of an 18th century barrel organ, which was part of a
historical Grand Father clock in the president’s house “La Casona” in
Caracas. 1999: Maintenance of the Cavaille – Coll organ of San Francisco, Caracas. 2000 / 2001: Reservoir and flexible wind conduits releathering of the Cavaillé-Coll organ of San Francisco, Caracas. Overhaul of the two Detlef Kleuker organs from "La Resurrección" Lutheran Church, Caracas. NOTE: In all these years I did various minor repair and maintenance jobs on some of the previous listed organs. Reed organ jobs are not listed here. Other
jobs I did, which are related to organ building: 1981: I was called by the government of Venezuela to
become a member of the technical committee that was in charge of the supervision
and maintenance of the six Cavaille – Coll organs declared historical and
cultural heritage of the country. 1983: I did the translation service and official
supervision of the restoration from three of the six Cavaille – Coll organs by
technicians from Detlef Kleuker Orgelbau. 1992: I did the translation (German to Spanish) of Dr. Wolfgang Oberlinger’s
Great Concert Organ project for the “Rios Reyna” Concert hall in the Teresa
Carreño Culture Complex in Caracas. |
